Over the years I have devoted myself to Henderson County through public and volunteer work. Along with other dedicated individuals I worked to pass The Clean Smokestacks Act, create a sidewalk program, institute fixed route public transit, energize smart growth urban planning and baked hundreds of cupcakes for my children’s classes.

| As we enter the 21st Century, our special challenge is to preserve the natural beauty that surrounds us while improving our economic opportunities. Using modern technologies and American creativity we can have both a clean environment and a vibrant economy. But we need a plan. For twenty years we have been waiting for a plan that hasn’t been delivered due to special interests and poor stewardship from elected officials. As your County Commissioner, this will no longer be the case. We will have a sensible and fair land use plan, a stellar education system that ensures good paying jobs, and a commission that is accountable to “We, the People.”
As your County Commissioner, I will strive to bring the same dedication, energy and integrity as I have in all my endeavors.
